Poured a dark brown body with a minimal head and minor lace. A strong malt smell of roasted, burnt chocolate and caramel malt with a little hop bitterness. A basic brew but a good one; has a medium body that goes down smooth and has a chocolatey taste along with some caramel and syrupiness (beer is slightly sticky). A slight fruit taste along with some hop bitterness that gives off a slightly dry finish. A quality dopplebock that hides the ABv well and is an enjoyable drink.

Pours a beautiful golden gold colour with frothy goibg on creamy big head. Smell is of sweet Munich malts and little floral hops but lacking depth taste is a superb example of the style. Mild sweet malts domibnate with a gentle floral hop finish Body is light to medium and very refreshing without making u burp.

In 2005 Marquis Philips made a reserve level wine that was neither Shiraz 9 nor Shiraz Integrity, but as good as both, if not better than both, "The Grail of Lisa". A mind-blowing wine that takes MP to a new level and probably one of the top three wines they've ever made. It shows vibrant ripe blackberries, fruitcake with layers of cinnamon and toffee.
